Both parents said that the Prisoner was a filial son. In addition, he was the major bread-winner to the family. They could not discover any undesirable habits he had acquired apart from playing 'mah-jong' now and then.

2. LEUNG Chung Ming, LAM Suk-kuen (eldest brother and his wife

The eldest brother said that he hardly kept close touch with the Prisoner because he was preoccupied with his job; while his wife pointed out that the Prisoner was kind and concerned for her health very much.

Mr. Mak described that the Prisoner was always eager to help his friends. Mr. Mak recalled that when a neighbour was robbed in the street, the Prisoner who happened to pass by at once gave chase.

Madam HO had known the Prisoner since he was just a boy. She found that he could get along with others, and that he was polite to the neighbours too. As to his outside activities, Madam HO knew very little.
