Condemned Prisoners: LAN Kwok-wah

Report by Home Affairs Department

Enquiries have been made by the staff of the Sham Shui Po City District Office where the nearest relatives of the prisoners live. The nearest relative of the victim cannot be found at the given address.

The staff of the Sham Shui Po City District Office have gathered

the following comments:

(a) Condemned Prisoner - LAM Kwok-wah

(1) CHAN Yu-chui, mother, 42 years:

"LAM Kwok-wah has few friends and, so far as I know,

none of them is of bad character. He behaved well at

home and has been a good son. He provided the main source of income of the family which has suffered greatly since he got into trouble. I do not believe that he carried any weapon and I think he is innocent.

(ii) LAM Shuk-wun, younger sister, 16 years:

"He is a good brother to me and I don't think he has done such a dreadful thing. I have never met any bad friend of his and to me he is always a good man."

(b) Condemned Prisoner - TSE Yung-tim

(i) TCE Wing-yip, father, 64 years:

"TSE Yung-tim has been an extremely good son and has always behaved well. I strongly believe that he is innocent because all friends have thought highly of him and more than 10 women in the neighbourhood wept upon The incident has greatly
