We agreed on the telephone that at your meeting this afternoon we might discuss the question which Mr Hal Miller has put down for oral answer on 10 July. I attach a copy of it.

I also attach a copy of the appropriate section of Hong Kong telegram no. 707 which gives the questions and answers on the death penalty at the press conference which the Governor held in Hong Kong on 28 June.
