The Governor, after taking into consideration the advice of

the Executive Council has decided that the death sentences passed on

September 13, 1973 on Tse Yung-tim and Lam Kwok-wah should be commuted to

a torm of 18 years' imprisonment in each case.

Tse and Lam were found guilty of the murder of Wong Fat-nip.
