The above-named has been remanded to this Centre for psychiatric observation since October 1972. I and two othor psychiatrists have the opportunities to interview him as well as
I have also read the police case report. his wife on many occasions.
While under observation, he has been well behaved. and never shown any aggressive behaviours nor homosexual tendency. He is helpful and cooperative in the wards and is able to maintain a good relationship to staff as well as to other inmates.
On examination, he is found to be attentive, but
rather apprehensive. His answers are up to the point and his speech is coherent; his mood is mildly depressed; his intelligence is adequate and his memory is not impaired.
He is able to give a consistent account of the circumstances in relation to the alleged offence of which he donges categorically. He repeatedly affirms that at the material time of the alleged offence he was with his wife and daughter at the cinema.

Under abreaction (by giving a hypnotic and mothedrine intravenously) he gives the same statement as told before. X-ray skull and electroencephalgram show no abnormalies. test for venereal disease is negative.
On no occasions he has shown any irrational behaviours or sexual perversion tendency, nor has he shorm any psychotic illness.

So much so that he spends especially loves his baby daughter deeply, most of the time in locking after her as far as possible. Sexually, he and his wife have a 'normal' relationship (more specifically, they have never had any oral sexual intercourse and they adopt only one or two positions in the actual act). His wife is satisfied that he has no extramarital relationship with other women and he is very attached to his wife.
