DEATH SENTENCE PASSED ON CHAN HON-TONG
On 26th February 1973 CHAN Hon-tong was convicted of the murder of WONG Yuk-lin and was sentenced to death. An appeal by Chan against his conviction was dismissed by the Full Court on 26th April 1973. His subsequent application for leave to appeal to the Privy Council was dismissed on 31st October 1973.
