4 Despatches and reports for printing should thus normally reach Printing Section of A & S Department not later than the eighth day after their arrival in the Geographical Department concerned. Printing Section will immediately pass the despatches and reports on to the HMSO Press. The HMSO Press have undertaken to print and return our Reports within three weeks in normal circumstances. In cases of great urgency and when specially requested by me to do so, the HMSO Press can already print a despatch in under a week whatever amount of work they have on hand.

Under these arrangements Diplomatic Reports should in future be ready for distribution not later than about the beginning of the fifth week after receipt in Departments.
