The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED:

subject to the acceptance of the financial commitment

by the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council:

(a) that increases in building costs of 50% or more

on April 1971 prices having occurred, Hong Kong

should pay an additional contribution to the

Services capital works programme in Hong Kong

as provided for in Article 3(1)(a) of the Defence

Costs Agreement;
