In order to complete this Form it is necessary for an officer to initially have Form 0.E.A.3 completed in respect of each child by the school(s) in question.
Fees should be entered in the currency in which they were payable. Where fees were payable in currencies other than sterling, officers should not complete items 3, 5, 6 and 7. These will be completed Departmentally after action has been taken in accordance with paragraph 18 of E.C. 14/73. 3. Fees qualifying for Boarding School Allowance (item 2) are defined as follows :
A fee is the basic boarding and tuition fee as advertised in a school's prospectus.
The amount of any grant entered at item 4 should be shown in the currency in which it was granted. not be considered as a grant and need not be entered at item 4.
