22nd June, 1974.

C.S. 41A

NXK 9/2

Following the appointment of Kenneth Topley

as Director of Education, and after discussion with him, I write to let you know that he will be in England from about the 5th to the 23rd August at his home in

24 The Ridgeway, Tonbridge, Kent.

2.

He would like to visit you in London, and it would, we think, be useful for him to meet other appropriate people.

3.

May I suggest that you write to him, letting him know what arrangements would be convenient? He will be in Hong Kong until the middle of July.

4.

I have copied this letter to Andrew Stuart who will be meeting Kenneth during his forthcoming visit here.
