VISIT TO SINGAPORE

1.

I enclose a copy of the British Council's education profile for Singapore, together with a copy of Mr Manning's covering letter to me. You will note what Mr Manning says in paragraph 2 of his letter.

2.

I should be most grateful to learn whether you wish to discuss any specific subjects (for example, Singapore's bilingual policies, utilisation of buildings, teaching of English) in detail, or whether you would prefer a general discussion with your opposite number in Singapore. The British High Commission in Singapore are most anxious to be advised on these points as soon as possible in order that they can arrange a programme for you.
