I think that this will be my final note to you about your programme of visits. I have now been able to arrange for you to spend the late morning and early afternoon of Friday 6 September with the Sheffield Metropolitan District LEA, Its Chief Education Officer is GMA Harrison, a very old friend and colleague of mine in the West Riding and in Cumberland, who is now regarded as one of the outstanding younger Directors. His Offices are in Leopold Street in Sheffield
I have warned and they will be expecting you at 11 a.m. or not long afterwards. Michael Harrison that you will be arriving by car, probably from York. Harrison himself hopes to meet you but he may be diverted by some important interviews taking place on that day but he will ensure that you are properly looked after.
