Thank you for sending us a copy of your correspondence with Trevor Scott of the International Society for the Protection of Animals. Scott has also recently sent us a copy of his letter of 5 June 1974 to the Chinese Embassy.

I imagine his approach has no chance of success; I have an idea that Taiwan has at least observer status on the IUCN, with which the ISPA is associated.
