Your Government will, of course, know that the International Society for the Protection of Animals has status with the United Nations through bodies such as F.A.0., U.N.......S. .C.0. and U.N.2.P ke have also consultative status with the Council of Europe and representation with numerous other inter-governmental agencies, including I.w.C., I.A.T.A. and I.U.C.N.
May I express the hope that your Government will view with favour the proposal that there should be closer co-operation between the People's Republic of China and ISPA.
I am, Sir,
Yours/truly,
Trevór H. Scott
