I an enclosing a letter I have had from one of my constituents, Mr. Barrie Sheldon, who is very concerned at the reports he has heard in the press and on the radio about the import of wild birds into Hong Kong from China.

I shall be most grateful if you will let me know what the position is and if any action can be taken to ensure that the other cruel practices referred to by Ir. Sheldon are stopped.
