You wrote to the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary on 31 December, enclosing a letter which you have received from your constituent, Mr. W. R. Reeves of Pennant, Gt. Wysbach, Nr. Colwyn Bay, North Wales, about thé B.B.C. Radio 4 programme on the import of wild life from China into Hong Kong.

The questions raised by the B.B.C. programme are still under consideration. Meanwhile Mr. Blaker, who has responsibility for Hong Kong affairs, has asked me to say that he will send you a full reply as soon as possible.
