ADDITIONS TO HM DIPLOMATIC SERVICE OVERSEAS REFERENCE LIST
1. I should be glad if you would arrange for the following additions to be made in the next issue of the list under the entries relating to the British Embassy in Brussels:-
Mr C B Burgess CMG CEE
Mr F V Dodge
Minister (Hong Kong
Commercial Affairs)
Counsellor (Hong Kong Commercial Affairs)
2. Mr Burgess's appointment is a recent one (effective as from 16 October 1974) but fir Dodge has been in Brussels for a considerable time, though for some reason his name has not been included in the list previously.. I assume that this is due to an oversight since these Hong Kong appointments are dealt with in HKIOD rather than in FŌD. Two similar appointments however, ie those of Mr Hermann to the Embassy in Washington and Mr Fearson to UKDEL Geneva, have both been included.
