Mr Hart (EID) informs me that Mr Butter has had a telephone call from our Mission in Brussels to say that their views on Hong Kong Representation remain as set out in Sir Michael Palliser's letter of 28 February 1972. In short this is that the Hong Kong Representation should remain attached to the Embassy and not be transferred to our Delegation.
