An Ordinance to amend the Quarantine and Prevention of Disease

Ordinance.

[29th March, 1974]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Quarantine and Short title. Prevention of Disease (Amendment) Ordinance 1974.

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended in Amendment subsection (1) by deleting the definition of "infectious disease" of section 2. and substituting the following—

""infectious disease" means any disease specified in the

First Schedule;".

Sections 4 and 5 of the principal Ordinance are amended by deleting "Schedule" wherever it occurs and substituting in each place the following—

"Second Schedule".

"or the aircraft".
