RESOLUTION OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

Resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council

under section 8 of the Labour Tribunal Ordinance on the

1974.

RESOLVED

(1) that the Schedule to the Ordinance be amended by

adding there to the following new item

"4.

(a)

Any question as to

the right of an employee to a severance

payment under Part IIIA of the Employment

Ordinance; or

(b) the amount of such payment.

(2) that the amendment to the said Schedule set out

in this resolution shall come into operation on

the day appointed by the Governor for the purposes

of section 20C(1) of the Employment Ordinance.
