Mr G Foggon, Overseas Labour Adviser, has already been in touch with you about the above visit, and I now write to confirm that Mr E Tonkinson, Director, Institute of Personnel Management will visit Bombay, Singapore and Hong Kong in order that he may help and advise on Personnel Management matters.

Mr Tonkinson plans to spend two working days in Bombay, one woek in Singapors, and ten days in Hong Kong. I understand he 13 making his own accommodation arrangements throughout his visit. I attach a copy of his itinerary.

The cost of this visit will be met by this Administration from our allocation for "Labour & Industrial Relations General Services Vote, 11, 6, Item J 7".

Mr Tonkinson's return journey to Britain from Hong Kong via Seychelles is being made by a private arrangement on his part.
