MONARCHY
Q15. Mr. William Hamilton asked the Prime Minister if he will now propose the setting up of a Crown Department providing for full public accountability for all public money spent on the institu- tion of monarchy.
The Prime Minister: This expenditure is already subject to a high degree of public accountability and a change in the arrangements would not be justified. My hon. Friend, with me and other right hon, and hon. Members, was a member of the Select Committee on the Civil List which surveyed all these matters and made recommendations to the House.

FIRE BRIGADES UNION
Mr. Arthur Lewis asked the Prime Minister whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the letter he received from the Fire Brigades Union, dated 8th March 1974, dealing with public aflairs and administration by Government and a copy of his reply thereto.
The Prime Minister: No, Sir, and in general I would not consider it appro- priate to publish my official correspon- dence, a large part of which is sent to me on a confidential basis.
HEINEMANN FOUNDATION
Mr. Raymond Fletcher asked the Prime Minister what is the present posi- tion as regards the staffing and organisa- tion of the Heinemann Foundation.
The Prime Minister: The foundation received its Royal Charter on 5th December 1973. I understand that the trustees have now established their office. are completing their recruitment of staff and discussing policy.
LONG HONG
Mr. Parry asked the Prime Minister if has any plans to pay an official visit to Hong Kong.
The Prime Minister: I have at present no plans to do so.
ECONOMIC AFFAIRS (PRIME
MINISTER'S SPEECH)
Mr. William Hamilton asked the Prime Minister if he will place in the Library a copy of the public speech he made at Leeds on 30th March to the Yorkshire Labour Women's Rally on Government policy and economic affairs.

Mr. McCusker asked the Frime Minis- ter if he will make it the practice of his Government that Minisers should inform Members when they are visiting their constituencies.
