Dear Mr Stuart
This is just a line to confirm lunch here on Friday, June 21 at which Sir Murray Mac Lehose will be our principal guest. Unfortunately, Lord Astor and Lord Shawcross are committed to other engagements that day although they would very much have liked to have joined us. We have invited a number of others including Mr Glanvill Benn, Treasurer of the Commonwealth Press Union; Colonel Pierce-Goulding, Secretary; heads of the Australian and New Zealand news agencies and so on.
I enclose two copies of the recent issue of the CPU Quarterly which has a fair amount on our Quadrennial Conference in Hong Kong, preceded by a tour of Malaysia and Singapore.
These will show you the context of the Governor's visit.
We look forward to seeing you here about 12.45.
Yours sincerely
Loum Complice
Doon Campbell
