Dear Denys,
NEXT
REF.
Thank you for your note of 28 March about your leave.
We would certainly be glad to see you if you have time. I shall be away until after Easter but should thereafter be in the Office until the end of your leave, unless, as is possible, a visit to Seychelles and Hong Kong in the middle of May seems called for. Could you let me know at your leisure whether a meeting, and lunch if you have the time, would be convenient? I am sure that Duncan Watson and Teddy Youde would also be glad to see you and perhaps Lord Goronwy-Roberts, if you wish. In this connection I attach a copy of a letter which I have sent to Hong Kong in reply to your's about visits of 27 March. We will also, of course, make other appointments for you if that would be helpful.
I have passed your salutations to Pat Kelly.
Unfortunately
she is leaving us at Easter to go to The Hague, having been lured there by those with bigger guns than Hong Kong Department.
Your we,
