Lord Brayley would like to visit our Troops stationed in Hong Kong which would mean that he would be away from 27th August to 1st September.
You will have seen a copy of the letter stating that the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary has no objection and the Secretary of State for Defence has also given his approval.
I should be grateful if you would seek the Prime Minister's approval for this visit.

I am copying this letter to Holt (F.C.0.), Miss Dover (Cabinet Office) and Hayter (Whips Office, House of Lords).
