Dow Sis Trim,

REF.

I sent you on 3 May a copy of my telegram to Sir Murray MacLehose about Mr Heath's visit to Hong Kong.

Subsequently Miss Gardner telephoned to ask if we would check on three points; the question of accommodation; the suggestion that Charles Low should organise the Saturday evening programme; and a proposal to shift the yacht club drinks from the Sunday to the Monday evening.

But before I could send off a further telegram, I received the attached reply from the Governor to my first one. This covers the points that Miss Gardner raised, except for the timing of the yacht club drinks, (unless you would also like me to make quite sure that Charles Low will organise the restaurant dinner rather than the Governor).

In order to avoid crossing wires, perhaps someone could let me have your further comments on the Governor's latest suggestions, before I go back to Hong Kong.

Yours minds
