You are already aware of the impending visit of Sir Paul Bryan and Mr. Fletcher-Cooke to Hong Kong at the invitation of the Hong Kong Government.

However, for the record, I should let you know that their official visit will extend from the 19th to the 25th January and that Sir Paul Bryan will be accompanied by Lady Bryan. Mr. Fletcher-Cooke will spend a week in Bangkok before he arrives in Hong Kong. Sir Paul and Lady Bryan are likely to travel directly to Hong Kong. Both MP's will leave Hong Kong during week ending 26th 28th January.

I have not had any requests from them for any special briefings by the FCO.
