Dear Miss Kelly,
I rang you before Christmas about my proposed visit to Hong Kong in my capacity as Head of the Overseas Department of the City and Guilds of London Institute. I have asked the Director of the Polytechnic (Mr. C. L. Old) to make arrangements for me in Hong Kong and he has agreed to do so. I propose visiting the Department of Education, the Department of Labour, the Polytechnic, Morrison Hill Technical Institute, the Productivity Centre, P.W.D. and the Taikoo Dockyard Training Centre and any other schools/ training establishments that would like to discuss City and Guilds schemes with me
2. I expect to arrive in Hong Kong on Tuesday, 5th February and will depart for Tehran on Tuesday, 12th February and I would be grateful if the authorities in Hong Kong could give their formal agreement to my visit.
Miss P. M. Kelly,
Hong Kong and Indian Ocean Department,
Room K 245,
