continue attending meetings of ECAFE, though we should be prepared to consider accepting some form of more limited membership, for example through a more formal expression of the principles of the Lahore Convention.

5. Since briefing must be prepared on this question for the Colombo meeting, I would be grateful to have any comments on this line, from all those to whom this minute is being sent, by the end of this month. Any further arguments in

favour of or against our retaining our membership would be
