ANGLO-HONG KONG PARLIAMENTARY GROUP

1.

The new Parliamentary Group have now elected their Chairman. He is Sir Paul Bryan DSO MC, Conservative MP for Howden (East Riding, Yorkshire) since 1955. Sir Paul, who was

a Minister of State in the Department of Employment in the last Government, visited Hong Kong in 1969, but is not otherwise known to have taken a close interest in the Colony. He has now been invited to make a second visit in September as the guest of the Hong Kong Government. Mr Kidd tells me that he has accepted.
