I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed
Mr. H. M. G. Forsgate, OBE, JP to be provisionally an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council during the absence from the Colony of Mr. P.G. Williams, JP. I have also appointed Mr. A. T. Armstrong-Wright to be provisionally an Official Member of the Legislative Council during the absence of Mr. J. J. Robson. Both appointments take effect from 10th July 1974.

Mr. Forsgate's previous appointment referred to in your despatch HKK 1/9 of 6th May 1974 expired on 5th June 1974 following the return to the Colony of Mr. G. M. Sayer, JP.

This is Mr. Armstrong-Wright's first appointment to the Legislative Council. He is now acting as Secretary for the Environment.
