Aziz' office have been in touch with Costains and
have been told firmly that Costain are not going to join Aziz. Dinsley of Dashwood contacted GEC only today suggesting Dashwood participate; they were interested only in financing aspects.
He was
recommended by GEC to see Lazards.

Members of existing group are bound by agreement. There is no disagreement between them'an need for strong British proposal in October and they are fully engaged in drawing this together. There is
no lack of enthusiasm in GEÇ.
3. Present group was formed by discussions initiated
some two years ago between EGCI and RIA. Construction members are main tunnellers in the UK and comprise
all those who were interested in pursuing this project. It seems unlikely that at this stage other constructors would want to change their minds. GEC is largest member of RIA with by far broadest
