Overriding condition
The Hong Kong Government has estimated that it would take two years
to introduce the proposed Hong Kong register within the above-
mentioned conditions. It shall be a condition of setting up such a
register that Hong Kong shipowners shall give a guarantee to
register thereon [20_7 million gross tons of their tonnage in
conformity with the proposed conditions within 12 months of
the date on which the register is established.
