DRUG ADDICTION TREATMENT CENTRES ORDINANCE

(Chapter 244)

Drug Addiction Treatment Centres (Amendment) Regulations 1973

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10

of the Drug Addiction Treatment Centres Ordinance, the

Governor in Council has made the following regulations

Citation and

commencment.

1. These regulations may be cited as the Drug

Addiction Treatment Centres (Amendment) Regulations 1973

and shall come into operation on the day appointed for the

Commencement of the Drug Addiction Treatment Centres

(Amendment) Ordinance 1973.

Amendment of regulation 7. (Cap. 244, sub. leg.)

2. Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is

amended by deleting paragraph (2) and substituting the

following new paragraph

-

"(2) A Board, for the purpose of carrying out

its functions, shall interview an inmate

(a) during the third month after the date of

his admission;

(b) at least once in every two months during

the four months following the first

interview; and
