The main committee above was supported by five Sub- Committees the Terms of Reference and membership of which were :

(a) Educatiɔn and Publicity Sub-Committee

Terms of Reference :-

(i)

To educate every section of the public in the dangers of narcotics addiction;

(ii)

To awaken greater public interest in and support for the campaign against narcotics;

(iii)

To make known the facilities available for

treatment and follow-up;

(iv)

(v)

To give guidance and assistance and as far as possible to co-ordinate the publicity efforts in this field of Government and voluntary

organisations;

To endeavour to maintain a balanced interpretation

overseas of Hong Kong's problems of narcotics.
