UN WORLD PLAN FOR CONCERTED ACTION AGAINST DRUG ABUSE: APPOINTMENT OF UN ADVISER TO SOUTH EAST ASIA
1.
I enclose a copy of the note from the Secretary-General of the United Nations which outlines a proposal to appoint a regional drug adviser for South East Asia. Attached to the note is an Annex which gives a general description of the project. A second Annex outlines the adviser's duties and responsibilities; you will see it is suggested that the adviser
· should be stationed at Djakarta.
2. I should be grateful confirmation that this proposal is acceptable to the Hong Kong Government.
