HONG KONG ARTS FESTIVAL

You will no doubt have seen by now the

Senior British Trade Commissioner's letter to Mr

Stuart (copied to Mr Morgan) of 29 March, about

Hong Kong's first Arts Festival. We have also

now received a Despatch from the Governor on the

same subject.

Mr Stuart would like to include a comment

from your Department in his reply to Mr Aston.

Could you please provide a short paragraph?

We should also be grateful for any comments on

the Governor's Despatch, which we shall be

submitting to Mr Royle.
