NOTES FOR SUPPLEMENTARIES

Pressure for return of Godber

There has been and still is powerful and sustained

public pressure in Hong Kong for the return of

Godber. The Governor has represented to me the

strong feelings of the Hong Kong Government that

means should be found to bring Godber to justice.

Mean of return under the Act

Mr Godber could be returned to Hong Kong if

evidence of an extraditable offence can be found.

The Hong Kong Police are working hard on this.
