Dear High Commissioner,

310/2/13

COLONIAL SECRETARIAT

LOWER ALBERT ROAD

HONG KONG

18th October, 1973.

I should be most grateful if you would pass the enclosed letter to Mr. J.V. Prendergast. It is the outcome of correspondence by telegram between this Government and Mr. Prendergast which you have been kind enough to handle through the High Commission.

2.

In the letter I have asked that Mr. Prendergast be medically examined by a "medical officer appointed by the British High Commission". I shall be most grateful if this may be arranged. The degree of fitness relates to an appointment in Hong Kong for a period of 3 years, with 45 days per annum leave outside Hong Kong, and approximately 12 days per annum inside Hong Kong.

Yours sincerely,

The High Commissioner, British High Commission, 7, St. Anne Street, Floriana,

MALTA G.C.

Encl.
