give you his fullest cooperation if you can give him yours.
Having in mind all that I have said, the HKFS should still maintain a low-key propaganda campaign. I do not think it would be right for me to act as the UK agent of the HKTS although I am willing to provide contacts and advice to you or any friends you make in the UK, if you would like that help.
I suggest that you yourselves mail your 17th August letter (with a brief covering report summarising Godber and the graft problem) to the UK's 630 MPs. You will find them listed in the annual book called Dod's Parliamentary Companion; if you are unable to purchase a copy in Hongkong please let me know and I will send you one with my compliments. I suggest you mail the material to MPs' home addresses.
Most important at the moment is Mr James Johndon, MP. His address is, 70a Home Park Road, Wimbledon, London SW19. He is anxious to have as much information as possible and I know he will be greatly pleased if you can daily mail to him relevant newspaper clippings from Hongkong
newspapers.
Could I suggest also that you produce the month's corruption news etc etc, British newspapers.

periodic news-sheet, summarising licated and sent to MPs and

direct news from Ilongkong.
I am attaching a list of British news, I feel, because they have acquired an recontly, would appreciate having from They do not all have foreign corresponde s based in Ilongkong and any- way many of the foreign correspondents who are based there are not of a high calibre. Send them any material which you think is important, and as frequently as you can so as to build up interest. It takes a long time to build up a relationship and interest so do not expect results too quickly: the important thing is to make contact and let them know that you exist and are informed. In time you will find them coming to you for advice.
Certainly I hope that you will keep in close contact with me in the future. If we can work together I am confident we will be able to cooperate with other friends to contain, if not destroy, the organised corruption conspiracy wherever it exists in Hongkong society...and in the UK.
Yours sincerely
