Governor's recommendation, the St Helena Government should

exercise their option under the London Agreement to buy out

SATIC's shareholding in the Company.

5. Cost of Living

The Governor has submitted proposals to raise the level of

poor relief and the wages of lower paid employees who have been

hit particularly hard by the sharp increase in the cost of living

since 1971 (30%). The estimated cost of the proposals is about

£81,000.
