On behalf of the Committee of our topaign I have been in correspondence with the Foreign and Common- wealth Office's Department responsible for Hong Kong.
This has been about the death sentence passed mor Tson Kwok-cheong and I had hoped the minister would be able to approach you
this matter to plead
with you
to exercise your residual Prerogative of mercy.
However he writes indirectly that the authorities do not usually interfer, so I respectfully
behalf of the campaign.
