Quote/Permit Allocations to Export Authorisation Holders

5.

Companies having shipped against the 1973 High Hong Kong Cost Content Scheme or the Free Quote Scheme will, on fulfilling 95% of an Export Authorisation, be offered quotes/permits equal to 50, of the amount approved on the authorisation. This will be distributed between exporter and manufacturer on a 50:50 basis; or, in the case of finished piecegoods using local origin grey fabrics on a 40:30:30 basis among exporter, weaver and finisher.

Export authorisations approved under the carryover scheme will

not qualify for any quota allocation.

Swing Provision

The current swing arrangements are extended to 30th June 1974.

All shipments must be covered by Certificate of Commonwealth Preference or Certificate of Hong Kong Origin.
