The (Council) Textiles Group would meeting on 18 July to consider future bilateral negotiations both to extend the present

cotton agreements and to cover other textiles next year. The two main issues appeared to be the scope of new bilaterals and what concessions, if any any, could the Commission hold in its negotiating hand.
