Amend the Employment Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the

advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title.

Amendment of section 3. (Cap. 57.)

1.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Employment

(Amendment) (No. 3) Ordinance 1973.

2. Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended

in subsection (2) by deleting "This Ordinance" and

substituting the following

Subject to Part IIC, this Ordinance"

Addition of Part 110.

3. The principal Ordinance is amended by adding

after Part IIB, the following new Part -

Appli- cation of Part IIC.

"PART IIC

PROTECTION AGAINST ANTI-UNION DISCRIMINATION

11J. Notwithstanding paragraph (a) of

subsection (2) of section 3, this Part shall

apply to every employee whether or not he is

employed by way of manual labour and whether

or not his wages exceed fifteen hundred

dollars per month.
