As you will know from Phillip Haddon-Cave's

tatement at the airport, the Chancellor has

promised a further message to all Agreement holders.

This is expected to go out in the second week of

September and will be in time not only for the

Commonwealth Finance Ministers meeting in Dar-es-

Salaam (17 to 20 September) but also the subsequent

IMF/IBRD meeting in Nairobi beginning 24 September.

(One important point which is sometimes over-looked

is that not all Agreement holders are in the

Commonwealth.)
