The minutes of the Gen.190 meeting held on 18 October are not quite right in relation to sterling guarantee agreements, ((a) on page 1).

The simplest correction would be to delete

March" in line 2 and substitute "September".

But it might be as well to add at the end of the new sentence:-

"The new arrangements were for an interim period ending in March 1974. Some approach to Hong Kong about what would happen thereafter would be necessary fairly early in the new year.

I am sending a copy of this letter to Mr Youde and Ar Stuart.
