DISCUSSIONS WITH THE GOVERNOR OF HONG KONG
We discussed the attached record which, subject to any comments you may have, I would propose to send to Sir Murray MacLehose. I think there is advantage in providing him with an accurate record of the meeting, although I realise that you would not wish to give any points away. I think the only point which you may want to tone down (although I think I have recorded Mrs Hedley-Miller accurately) is her acknowledgement of the relevance of the possible removal of the Banks' sterling, to the maintenance of the MSP.
