LUNCH ER ROYLE

1. Mr Royle wishes to give a lunch on 22 May in honour of a leading Hong Kong citizen and businessman, Mr L Kadoorie. Mr Royle intends to invite 11 guests, ie 12 persons in all. I realise the rules are that not more than half should be official.

2. I have already discussed this on the telephone with someone who answered your telephone, and shall be glad for confirmation that your Department will be paying the bill.

3. Mr Royle would like the luncheon to be in Admiralty House if this is possible. I am sending a copy of this minute to Mr R Holtun in IAD and shall be glad if he will find out if Admiralty House is free that day.
