1.
The formation of the Technical Institutes is being staggered.
The Morrison Hill Technical Institute is already operational. Two more
institutes are scheduled for completion by September 1975 and another in
September 1976. This staggering in the completion of the institutes has led
to difficulties in deciding how the grant should be dispersed. However, a list
of the equipment required from the Morrison Hill Technical Institute is expected
shortly.
2.
The Polytechnic is still very young and plans for new courses and
new departments are still embryonic. They have, however, made a preliminary
request for British books and binding equipment. A detailed list of these
requirements is expected shortly. We also expect a request for development
aid for the metrology.
